We are thrilled to announce that Samuel Stanton, a seasoned craftsman at Stanton Studios, will be hosting introductory stained glass classes starting February 1st!
Due to high demand and growing interest from our community, Samuel will be guiding beginners through the beautiful art of stained glass, where students will learn how to create their very own suncatcher. You’ll learn foundational techniques like: – Cutting glass – Shaping the pieces – Copper foiling — Soldering and assembling – And finishing your suncatcher for display!
Each week, Sam will teach the class how to make a different suncatcher, so check out the monthly schedule to see which class you are interested in taking. Read below for more information on dates, pricing, and reservations!

- Duration: 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
- Class Fee: $100 per person
- Materials: All tools and materials will be provided!

FAQ’s-
- What should I wear? We require that each person in the glass shop be wearing closed-toed shoes and have loose hair tied back.
- What ages can participate? Stained glass classes are welcome to anyone ages 15+.
- How long does each piece take to create? Each stained-glass class is two hours long. By the end of the class, you should be going home with your completed suncatcher. However, if you are falling behind, Samruel will assist in making sure your piece gets completed in the required time frame!
- Where are you located? Stanton Glass Class is located on the Stanton Studios property. We are located north of Waco, about 7 miles north of Loop 340, off of FM 933/Gholson Rd.
- How do I pay for my spot in the class? You pay when you arrive! You can pay for your class with a credit/debit card or cash when you check in.
